ALL SAINTS DAY AND ALL SOULS DAY

October 30, 2025 - November 3, 2025

1st November

SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS

  • First reading: Revelation 7: 2-4, 9-14
  • Psalm: 24:1-6(Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face)
  • 1st John 3:1-3
  • Gospel: Mathew 5: 1-12
 A Brief Homily

Today, on All Saints Day, we honor the saints who followed God with love, patience, and faithfulness. The Gospel reminds us of the Beatitudes, which show the path to true happiness and holiness. Saints embraced these teachings, often facing trials yet remaining joyful in their hope for heaven. Revelation shows us a vision of countless people before God, purified and filled with joy. St. John reminds us that we are God’s children, called to live with love and hope. Today, we’re invited to follow the saints’ example: to be humble, kind, and merciful, seeking God’s face daily, and trusting that we, too, are destined for heaven if we follow Him faithfully.

Inspiration Message
  1. Seek Humility and Kindness: Embrace humility and kindness, as the saints did, knowing these qualities lead us closer to God.
  2. Trust in God’s Promise: We are God’s children, and He promises a place for us in heaven. Living in faith and hope brings us peace.
  3. Be Joyful in Trials: Like the saints, find strength in God during hard times, trusting that He will help us through.
  4. Live the Beatitudes Daily: Practicing the Beatitudes—being merciful, pure-hearted, and peaceful—helps us grow in holiness and love.
  5. Desire to See God’s Face: Long to know and love God more each day, knowing that a close relationship with Him leads to eternal happiness.
Morning Prayer

Loving Father, today I seek Your guidance to live with humility, kindness, and a pure heart. Help me trust in Your promises and find strength in You during hard times. Teach me to live the Beatitudes, showing mercy, peace, and love to all. Fill me with a longing to know You more deeply and to see Your face one day. May my actions today reflect Your goodness and bring me closer to You. Amen.May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

2nd November

ALL SOULS DAY: The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

  • First reading: Job 19:1, 23-27
  • Psalm: 27:1, 4, 7-9, 13-14(The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.)
  • Second Reading: Romans 5:5-11
  • Gospel: Mathew 5:1-12
A Brief Homily

In today’s readings, we remember all the souls who have gone before us. Job reminds us of the hope we have in God: that even after death, we shall see God with our own eyes. This hope gives us peace, knowing that death is not the end. St. Paul, too, speaks of God’s great love for us, shown through Jesus who died for us. Through this sacrifice, we are offered eternal life. The Beatitudes in the Gospel highlight the blessings for those who seek God, mourn, or strive for peace and mercy. Today, let’s pray for the souls of all who have passed, trusting they are in God’s care, and let’s live with hope, striving to be people of peace and mercy.

 Inspiration Message
  1. Live with Hope in Eternal Life – Like Job, remember that life doesn’t end with death; we have hope in seeing God face-to-face.
  2. Trust in God’s Unfailing Love – Even in hardships, God’s love is constant, as Jesus showed through His sacrifice for us.
  3. Pray for the Deceased – Pray for all souls who have passed, trusting they are in God’s loving care.
  4. Seek God in All Things – The Beatitudes remind us to live humbly, mercifully, and peacefully, as these actions draw us closer to God.
  5. Embrace God’s Blessings – God promises blessings for those who mourn, seek peace, and show mercy, so live each day with compassion and kindness.
Morning Prayer

Loving God, thank You for the gift of this new day. Help me to live with hope, trusting in Your unfailing love. May I remember those who have passed, praying for their peace in Your presence. Guide my actions to reflect humility, mercy, and kindness as I seek You in all things. Fill my heart with compassion and joy, that I may be a blessing to others. Stay close to me, Lord, now and always. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Another option of reading

  • First Reading: Job 19:1, 23–27b
  • Psalm: 23:1–3, 4, 5, 6 — “The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.”
  • Second Reading: Romans 5:5–11
  • Gospel: Matthew 5:1–12
A Brief Homily

Today we remember all the faithful departed — those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. Job reminds us that even in suffering, our Redeemer lives and will one day raise us up. St. Paul assures us that Christ died for us while we were still sinners, proving God’s endless mercy. The Beatitudes in the Gospel remind us that heaven awaits those who lived with faith, humility, and love. Death is not the end but a doorway to eternal life. Let us live with hope and charity, praying for our loved ones still on their journey to heaven.

Inspirational Insights
  1. Hope Beyond the Grave: Death does not end our story; it opens the chapter of eternal life with God. Let us live with this joyful hope every day.
  2. Power of Prayer for the Departed: Our prayers help souls on their journey to heaven. Remembering them strengthens our connection with the Communion of Saints.
  3. Faith in the Redeemer: Like Job, even in pain and loss, we proclaim: “I know my Redeemer lives!” Our faith must remain steadfast in suffering.
  4. Call to Live the Beatitudes: The blessed life begins here — mercy, purity, peace, and righteousness prepare us for the joy of heaven.
  5. Live in Reconciliation and Love: Forgive, love, and reconcile with others daily, for in doing so we prepare our souls for eternal peace.
Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of eternal life promised through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Today we remember all our departed loved ones—grant them rest, peace, and the joy of seeing Your face. Strengthen our faith in the resurrection and help us live each day with hope, mercy, and love. May our lives reflect the Beatitudes, leading us closer to You until we meet again in Your kingdom. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
