Today, we celebrate Mary, the mother of Jesus and the Mother of God. In the first reading, we hear God’s blessing upon His people, calling us to live in peace and to trust in His protection. This blessing is fulfilled in Mary, who brought Jesus, the Savior, into the world. In Galatians, Paul reminds us that through Jesus, we are adopted as children of God, becoming part of His family. In the Gospel, we see the shepherds visiting Mary and Jesus, praising God for the incredible gift of the Savior.
Let us, like Mary, trust in God’s plan for us and be open to His blessings, living as His children, and sharing His love with the world.
Lord, thank You for the blessing of being Your child. Like Mary, help me trust in Your plan for my life and embrace Your will. Fill me with Your love and peace today. May I share the gift of Jesus with everyone I meet, bringing light and joy to the world. Guide me in living as Your child, reflecting Your love in all my actions. Bless my day and keep me close to You. Amen. May the almighty God bless you, The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen”
