Today’s Gospel reminds us that we cannot serve both God and money. Jesus calls us to trust fully in God, who provides for every need. Like the birds and flowers, we are precious in God’s eyes. Paul, in weakness, discovered God’s strength—“My grace is enough for you.” St. Aloysius Gonzaga lived this trust completely, giving up wealth and comfort to serve God in purity and love. We are invited to do the same: seek first God’s kingdom. Even in trials, God is our strength, our provider, and our joy. Taste and see His goodness daily.
Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day. Help me not to chase after the things of this world but to store up treasures in heaven. When I feel weak or burdened, remind me that You are my strength. Shine Your light in my heart so that I may walk in truth and love. Like St. Paul, may I trust You in all things. Rescue me from distress and guide me in Your peace. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
