FRIDAY AFTER EPIPHANY
- First reading: 1 John 5: 5-13
- Psalm:147: 12-15, 19-20 (O Jerusalem, glorify the Lord!)
- Gospel: Luke 5: 12-16
Brief Homily
In today’s readings, we are reminded of the power of faith and God’s love. St. John tells us that those who believe in Jesus Christ are victorious, for He is the Son of God who gives us eternal life. Our faith connects us to God’s love and allows us to receive His grace. In the Gospel, we see Jesus heal a man with leprosy. His compassion and power are evident as He touches the man and makes him clean. Jesus’ willingness to heal reminds us that no matter our struggles, Jesus is always ready to bring healing and restoration into our lives.
Let us trust in Jesus’ power and love, knowing that through Him, we can experience true healing and peace.
Morning Prayer
Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your love and healing power. Help me to trust in You fully, knowing that through faith, I am victorious. Touch my heart today and bring healing to any pain or struggles I face. Teach me to show compassion to others as You did. May Your love guide me in all that I do, and may I bring peace and light to those around me. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
