First reading: Hebrew 9:15, 24-28 Psalm: 98:1-6 (Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous deeds) Gospel: Mark 3: 22-30 A Brief Homily Today’s readings highlight the power of Jesus’ sacrifice and the victory He brings over sin. In Hebrews, we learn that Christ’s sacrifice is eternal, cleansing us from sin and offering us redemption. In the Gospel, Jesus faces accusations, but He remains firm in His mission, showing that nothing can stand in the way of God’s plan. Like Christ, we are called to trust in God’s plan and boldly live out His truth, knowing that He has already won the victory over sin.
