SUMMARY:JANUARY 5 - EPIPHANY SUNDAY
DESCRIPTION:First reading: 1 John 3: 11-21\nPsalm:100: 1-5 (Cry out with joy to the Lord\, all the earth)\nGospel: John 1: 43-51\n\nBrief Homily\nToday’s readings remind us of the importance of loving one another as Jesus loves us. In the first reading\, St. John teaches that love is not just a feeling\, but a choice we make to act with kindness\, compassion\, and care. He calls us to love others in truth and action\, not just in words. The psalm invites us to rejoice and give thanks to God for His goodness. In the Gospel\, Jesus calls Philip and Nathanael to follow Him. Nathanael is amazed at Jesus’ knowledge and declares Him the Son of God. \nLet us respond to Jesus’ call with joy\, love others as He loves us\, and recognize His presence in our lives\, just as Nathanael did. \nMorning Prayer\nLord\, help me show Your love today through my actions. Teach me to love others as You love me\, with kindness and care. Thank You for Your goodness\, and may I always rejoice in Your blessings. Guide me to follow You with joy\, trusting in Your call. Open my heart to recognize Your presence in my life and to follow Your direction. May I live today in Your love and truth. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you\, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen \nInspiration Message\n\nLove in Action: True love is not just about words\, but about showing kindness and care through our actions. SUMMARY:Prayer: 20th December 2024
DESCRIPTION:Heavenly Father\, in my life I experience people being nasty to me. Today if someone should be nasty\, help me to be courteous in return. I meet people who are unkind to me: today if I meet any such\, help me to be kind to them in return and when an occasion arises\, help me to generously assist them in their needs. Lord\, today when I meet people who hurt me\, insult me\, ignore me or even injure me\, help me to forgive them as Jesus did in a much worse situation – hanging on the cross. This is difficult\, Lord. But it must have been even more difficult for Jesus. If I love you\, I know I will not find it so difficult. Then help me to love you so. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
