In the first reading\, we hear God’s blessing upon His people\, calling us to live in peace and to trust in His protection. This blessing is fulfilled in Mary\, who brought Jesus\, the Savior\, into the world. In Galatians\, Paul reminds us that through Jesus\, we are adopted as children of God\, becoming part of His family. In the Gospel\, we see the shepherds visiting Mary and Jesus\, praising God for the incredible gift of the Savior. \nLet us\, like Mary\, trust in God’s plan for us and be open to His blessings\, living as His children\, and sharing His love with the world. \nMorning Prayer\nLord\, thank You for the blessing of being Your child. DESCRIPTION:Heavenly Father\, in my life I experience people being nasty to me. Today if someone should be nasty\, help me to be courteous in return. I meet people who are unkind to me: today if I meet any such\, help me to be kind to them in return and when an occasion arises\, help me to generously assist them in their needs. Lord\, today when I meet people who hurt me\, insult me\, ignore me or even injure me\, help me to forgive them as Jesus did in a much worse situation – hanging on the cross. This is difficult\, Lord. But it must have been even more difficult for Jesus. If I love you\, I know I will not find it so difficult. Then help me to love you so. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
