SUMMARY:FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
DESCRIPTION:First reading: Isaiah 6:1-2a\, 3-8\nPsalm: 138: 1-5\, 7-8 (In the sight of the angels I will sing your praise\, Lord)\nSecond reading: 1st Corinthians 15:1-11\nGospel: Luke 5:1-11\n\n A Brief Homily\nIn today’s Gospel\, Jesus calls Simon Peter to follow Him. Peter\, feeling unworthy\, says\, “Depart from me\, Lord\, for I am a sinful man.” Yet\, Jesus chooses him anyway! Like Peter\, Isaiah also felt unworthy when he saw God’s glory\, but God purified him and sent him on a mission. \nGod does not call the perfect—He perfects the called! When we feel weak\, God’s grace is enough. He asks us to trust Him\, step out in faith\, and follow Him. Let us respond like Isaiah: “Here I am\, Lord\, send me!” Say yes to God’s call today! \nInspiration Message\n\nGod Calls Imperfect People – Just like Peter and Isaiah\, we may feel unworthy\, but God chooses us despite our weaknesses. Trust that He can use you for His work.\nTrust in God’s Plan – Peter obeyed Jesus and cast his net again\, even after failing all night. When we listen to God\, He blesses our efforts beyond our expectations.\nGod Cleanses and Strengthens Us – Isaiah’s lips were purified before his mission. When we surrender to God\, He forgives\, renews\, and equips us for our calling.\nSay Yes to God – Isaiah said\, “Here I am\, send me!” A willing heart is all God needs to work through us.\nBe a Fisher of Men – Jesus calls us to bring others to Him. Share your faith through words\, actions\, and love.\n\nMorning Prayer\nHeavenly Father\, thank You for calling me despite my weaknesses. Like Isaiah and Peter\, I surrender my doubts and fears to You. Strengthen my faith to trust in Your plan\, even when I don’t understand. Cleanse my heart and renew my spirit so I may serve You joyfully. Help me to say\, “Here I am\, send me!” May my life be a light that draws others to You. Amen. May the almighty God bless you\, The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen
