St. John reminds us that we love because God first loved us\, and this love leads us to follow His commandments. When we love God\, we are empowered to love others\, and our faith in Him overcomes the world. In the Gospel\, Jesus begins His public ministry\, proclaiming the Good News of salvation. He reads from the scroll of the prophet Isaiah\, announcing that He has come to bring freedom\, healing\, and comfort to all people. \nLet us be filled with God’s love today and trust in His promises. As we follow Jesus’ example\, let us share His love and light with others\, bringing hope and peace to the world. \nMorning Prayer\nLord\, thank You for Your endless love that empowers me to love others. Help me to trust in You today\, knowing that faith in You will overcome all challenges. May I follow Jesus’ example by sharing His love and light with everyone I meet.
