DESCRIPTION:First reading: 1 John 4: 11-18\nPsalm:72: 1-2\, 10-13 (All nations on earth shall fall prostrate before you\, O Lord)\nGospel: Mark 6: 45-52\n\nBrief Homily\nToday’s readings remind us of God’s perfect love and how it casts out fear. St. John encourages us to love one another\, just as God has loved us. If we love\, we remain in God\, and His love is made perfect in us. This love drives out fear\, for fear has no place where love dwells. In the Gospel\, Jesus walks on water to reach His disciples during a storm\, showing His power and care. When the disciples are afraid\, Jesus reassures them\, saying\, “Take courage! It is I.” \nLet us remember that God’s love is perfect and fearless. No matter what storms we face\, Jesus is with us\, offering peace and reassurance. \nMorning Prayer\nLord\, thank You for Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Help me to love others as You have loved me. When challenges arise\, remind me that You are always with me\, offering courage and peace. May Your love guide me through the day\, filling me with strength and kindness. Help me to reflect Your love in all I do and trust in Your presence during every storm. We are called to reflect that love in our relationships with others.\nLove Drives Out Fear: Fear has no place in our hearts where God’s love dwells. Trusting in God’s love brings peace and removes fear.\nWe Are Called to Love Others: Just as God loved us\, we are called to love others. This love strengthens our connection with God.\nJesus is Always With Us: In times of trouble\, like the disciples in the storm\, Jesus is always with us\, offering comfort and reassurance.\nTake Courage in Christ: When life feels overwhelming\, remember Jesus’ words\, “Take courage! It is I.” Trust that He is present and will guide us through difficulties.
