A Brief Homily
Faith means trusting in God even when we don’t see the whole picture (Hebrews 11:1). Abraham obeyed God, leaving everything behind because he believed in God’s promises. In the Gospel, the disciples faced a storm, afraid and doubting, but Jesus calmed the sea, showing His power. Life brings storms—challenges, fears, and uncertainties—but Jesus reminds us: “Why are you afraid? Have faith!” Let us trust God, knowing He is always with us, guiding and protecting us. Like Abraham, let’s walk by faith, not by sight. No storm is greater than God’s love and power. Amen.
Inspiration Message
- Faith means trusting God always – Even when we don’t see the whole picture, we should believe that God is in control, just as Abraham did.
- God is bigger than our storms – Life has challenges, but Jesus has the power to calm every storm in our hearts and lives.
- Fear weakens faith – The disciples were afraid during the storm, but Jesus reminded them to have faith. Trust removes fear.
- Obedience brings blessings – Abraham followed God’s call, and he was rewarded. Trusting and obeying God leads to a fulfilled life.
- God is always with us – No matter the situation, we are never alone. Jesus is in our boat, guiding and protecting us.
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day. I place my trust in You, just as Abraham did. Strengthen my faith to face life’s storms with confidence, knowing that You are always with me. Help me to obey Your will and walk in Your blessings. Remove fear from my heart and fill me with peace. Guide my steps and let my life reflect Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. May the almighty God bless you, The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit. Amen
