A Brief Homily
Today’s readings remind us of the power of God’s Word and our role in the Body of Christ. In Nehemiah, the people hear the Word of God and are moved to joy and transformation. Paul reminds us that every believer is a vital part of Christ’s body, working together for His mission.
In the Gospel, Jesus declares that He fulfills God’s promise to bring good news to the poor and freedom to the oppressed. Let us rejoice in His Word, use our gifts to serve, and bring hope to those in need, knowing we are all united in Christ.

Morning Prayer
Good morning, Lord. Thank You for Your powerful Word that transforms and fills us with joy. Help me to use the gifts You’ve given me to serve others and share Your love. May I always remember that I am part of Your Body, working together for Your kingdom. Fill me with hope and strength today, just as You bring freedom to those in need. Guide my steps, and let Your Word lead me through this day. Amen.
