SATURDAY OF THE 2ND WEEK IN ORDINARY TIMES

January 25, 2025

Feast of Conversion of Paul, Apostle

  • First reading: Act 22: 3-16 or Acts 9:1-12
  • Psalm: 117: 1-2 (Go out to all the world and tell the good News)
  • Gospel: Mark 16:15-18
A Brief Homily

Today we celebrate the conversion of St. Paul, a powerful story of God’s transformative grace. Paul went from persecuting Christians to becoming one of the greatest apostles. In Acts, we see how an encounter with Jesus completely changed his life. The Gospel reminds us of Jesus’ mission for all believers: to proclaim the Good News to the world.

Like Paul, we are called to let Christ transform us and boldly share His message of love, mercy, and salvation. No matter our past, God’s grace can renew us and use us for His mission. Trust in His power to change lives!

Inspiration Message
  1. God can transform anyone – Like St. Paul, no matter your past, God can renew your heart and lead you to a better path.
  2. Listen to God’s call – Be open to hearing His voice and following His plan for your life, even if it feels unexpected.
  3. Share the Good News – Jesus calls us to spread His message of love and salvation to everyone we meet.
  4. Trust God’s grace – His power is greater than any mistake or weakness; rely on Him to guide and strengthen you.
  5. Be courageous in faith – Step out boldly, like Paul, to live and proclaim your faith in word and action.
 Morning Prayer

Good morning, Lord. Thank You for Your transforming grace that renews us like You renewed St. Paul. Help me to trust in Your power to change my heart and guide my steps. Open my ears to hear Your call and give me the courage to share Your love with others. Strengthen my faith so I can boldly live as a witness to Your Good News. Walk with me today, and may my life glorify You. Amen.
