Today’s readings remind us of the importance of loving one another as Jesus loves us. In the first reading, St. John teaches that love is not just a feeling, but a choice we make to act with kindness, compassion, and care. He calls us to love others in truth and action, not just in words. The psalm invites us to rejoice and give thanks to God for His goodness. In the Gospel, Jesus calls Philip and Nathanael to follow Him. Nathanael is amazed at Jesus’ knowledge and declares Him the Son of God.
Let us respond to Jesus’ call with joy, love others as He loves us, and recognize His presence in our lives, just as Nathanael did.
Lord, help me show Your love today through my actions. Teach me to love others as You love me, with kindness and care. Thank You for Your goodness, and may I always rejoice in Your blessings. Guide me to follow You with joy, trusting in Your call. Open my heart to recognize Your presence in my life and to follow Your direction. May I live today in Your love and truth. Amen. May the Almighty God Bless you, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
